A DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING
Georgia Baptists are being challenged to set aside the first Friday of every month as a day of prayer and fasting. In 1794 a "call to prayer" went throughout Georgia and the United States, and within six years the second Great Awakening had begun. Once again we are sounding a "call to prayer" and asking you to set aside the first Friday of every month to pray and fast for your church, your community and the entire state of Georgia. We need revival!

LET’S HELP THE NEEDY!
The Benevolent Committee needs your help to re-stock the supply of canned food we keep on hand for emergency situations. Some- times we get calls at night from people passing through that need help feeding their family. We need nonperishable food that can be eaten on the road---peanut butter, vienna sausage, tuna, canned ham or chicken, fruit---anything easy opened that doesn't need cooking. Also we are low on other canned food that can be given to families here. We'll put a box inside the door leading to the nursery wing or if you need us to pick up your canned goods contact Gerald Pirkle, Juanita Cleghorn or Debbie Godwin. Thanks for your help!
